About the role
We are looking for a reliable, friendly full-time Barista / Coffee Shop Assistant to help serve great coffee and keep both of our locations running smoothly.
Hours & flexibility
- Weekday opening times: 07:30 – 17:00
- Weekend opening times: 08:00 – 17:00
- You may need to start as early as 07:00 or close up as late as 18:30
- Some weekend shifts will be required depending on part-time staff availability
- Flexibility to work across both Dungloe & Kincasslagh is essential
What you'll do
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and grab-and-go food
- Provide a warm, friendly customer experience every time
- Operate the till, handle card & cash payments, and keep the service area tidy
- Restock, clean, and maintain both coffee shop and pod standards
- Work as part of a small, close-knit team
- Full training provided — no previous barista experience required
- Join a team that has already trained and developed 24 Baristas since Hookd started
Who we're looking for
Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred, not essential
Comfortable working early mornings and late closes
Happy to work across both Dungloe & Kincasslagh
Reliable, punctual, and able to work some weekends
Friendly, energetic, and passionate about great coffee
Good communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
